Our gently irregular yarns might be a little short on yardage or have a second color accidentally spun in for a few inches.  Or perhaps the skein does not fall into one of the weight categories we normally sell.  It could be the spinning does not meet our standards or the skein is tangled.  

The softness has not been compromised one bit.  

The dyed yarns were dyed using only natural dyes.  They have variation both between skeins and within -- there are no dye lots.
We offer these yarns here at 50% off retail prices.  The yarns are sold as is (they may be in skeins or cakes).
